Gateside

Gateside: sleeps 5 it has three bedrooms which are on the ground floor. Gas fired central heating and log burning stove. The long stone barn overlooking the village green dates probably from the eighteenth century. The southern portion has all the typical features of a North Yorkshire threshing barn.

The cottage has been arranged to make best use of the superb beams and roof timbers. This is why we are an upside down cottage.

Downstairs: Three flagstone steps to front door which opens on to the hall. Single, twin and double bedrooms. The bathroom has under floor heating, shower over bath.

Upstairs: beamed kitchen/dining room well equipped with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, automatic washer/dryer.
